Crisis Intervention
The Community Food Pantry
is experiencing greatly increased need for the non-perishable foods they provide to Kent County individuals and families who lack the means to purchase adequate food. Food is collected from available sources and funds are sought to purchase additional supplies.
Epilepsy Association of the Eastern Shore
responds to emergency medical and support needs of Kent County residents suffering from epilepsy. Residential and vocational opportunities, education and family training are provided.
For All Seasons
is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic that provides affordable service for individuals, families and groups including crisis intervention, therapy, advocacy and education.
Kent County Medical Adult Day Care
provides daily social opportunities for adults with disability and medical needs. United Way funds enable volunteers to take disabled adults on outings and provide special meals and activities.
The Samaritan Group
operates the County’s only
winter shelter program for homeless individuals and families.
It seeks to prevent homelessness by making emergency funds
available to those in danger of losing heat, electricity and their
homes.
