United Way of Kent County honors Member Agency volunteers who "Live United"

United Way supports agencies, non-profits and charities who give back to those in need in our community. And so it is only fitting that it also honors individuals who go beyond the call of duty in their work for United Way member agencies. On April 14th, at the United Way’s annual meeting, a large gathering of Member Agency, United Way and media personnel recognized these individuals and their deeds. Many of the honorees were those young and starting careers of service to the community and many were veterans of volunteer service. With each indivdual award it was obvious that the notion of "living united" was second nature to each of them.

United Way hopes that these honorees inspire other community members to step up and help those in need for a better community.
