Crisis Intervention

Community Mediation Services Upper Shore

presents mediation services which provide no-cost alternatives to court proceedings. It trains persons to serve as mediators and conducts conflict resolution programs for adults and youth.

For All Seasons

is a licensed outpatient mental health clinic that provides affordable service for individuals, families and groups including crisis intervention, therapy, advocacy and education.

Kent County Community Assistance Fund

offers a child-friendly facility to provide comprehensive and coordinated multidisciplinary services to children that have been identified as abused or neglected. The organization provides counseling and advocacy for the children and helps parents and families find the services they need to resolve their situation.

Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence

assists with issues of domestic violence through crisis intervention. The organization provides counseling and advocacy as well as legal assistance in divorce and custody cases in both English and Spanish.

St Martin's Ministries

is a program based art St Martin's House, where homeless women and children can safely live, and go to school and work. the women there support each other and, through the program, can begin to lead self sufficient, happy, healthy and productive lives.

Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence

Spring 2015...The Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence has moved into a new, larger building more centrally located in the mid-shore region.  This new building has plenty of room for counseling, advocacy and their legal department, as well as private areas for client meetings and research.

Thanks to the partnership and support from the United Way Kent County, Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence is able to provide crisis, legal and transitional services to victims in Kent County through an outreach office located in Chestertown. ”
